Introduction

The 9th International Conference on Control, Automation, Robotics and Vision, ICARCV 2006, will be held in Singapore from 5 - 8 December 2006. The conference is organised by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Institution of Engineers, Singapore. It is co-sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, and IEEE Systems Man and Cybernetics Society.

ICARCV provides a forum for professionals, engineers, academics, educators and researchers in control, automation, and manufacturing to exchange up-to-date technical knowledge and experiences. The conference focuses on both theory and applications mainly covering the topics of Control, Automation, Robotics and Vision. In addition to the technical sessions, there will be invited sessions, tutorials and keynote addresses.

The Proceedings of ICARCV are indexed by ISI Proceedings, EI Compendex and included in the IEEE Xplore.
